ATX Somms is delighted to welcome Morgan Twain-Peterson (MW) from Bedrock Wines at Ezov on October 31st 11 am to 1 pm.
The son of Ravenswood founder Joel Peterson, Morgan and his team farm or consult on vineyard management for heritage sites across California. The average age of the vines going into their entry level Zin blend is 80 years, and they oldest vines in Bedrock vineyard can be traced back to 1888.
While Zin isn't all they do, it's certainly the focus. And their Zins aren't single varietal but field blends that emphasize both California vineyards' terroir and California vintners' heritage.
