Please join us for an exciting in-depth education on the terroir of Willamette Valley from owner and winemaker Evan Martin.
Evan Martin’s path to winemaking began far from Oregon’s vineyards, in the heart of Indiana. After studying philosophy and exploring the wildnerness of Colorado Evan fell in to the world of wine via a small shop in Seattle and soon after did his first harvest at Seven Hills in Walla Walla.
Drawn to wines with a distinct sense of place, Evan’s Journey eventually led him to Oregon’s Willamette Valley where he joined Belle Pente in 2009 and eventually started Martin Woods Winery in 2014. Martin Woods has always been dedicated to creating expressive, site-driven wines that reflect Oregon’s distinctive terroir and they continue to push the boundaries of what Oregon is capable of.
